Juan Romero, a member of the RNASA-IMEDIR group (UDC), was awarded the “Award for Outstanding Contribution to Evolutionary Computation in Europe” by the Society for the Promotion of Evolutionary Computation in Europe and its Surroundings (SPECIES). This award was presented to him at the “EvoMUSART 2021: 10th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design,” which took place from April 7th to 9th, 2021. The award is given to the researcher who has made the most significant contributions to Artificial Intelligence research and Evolutionary Computation techniques in recent years.
