El miembro del grupo RNASA-IMEDIR (UDC) Juan Romero fue galardonado con el “Award for Outstanding Contribution to Evolutionary Computation in Europe”, otorgado por la “Society for the Promotion of Evolutionary Computation in Europe and its Surroundings” (SPECIES). Este premio se le fue otrogado en el evento “EvoMUSART 2021: 10th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design”, que tuvo lugar del 7 al 9 de abril de este 2021. Dicho premio se le es otorgado al investigador que más haya contribuído a la investigación en Inteligencia Artificial y a la técnica de Computación Evolutiva en los últimos años.
