Cristian R. Munteanu, a member of the RNASA-IMEDIR group (UDC), participated in the event “The Importance of Data and Artificial Intelligence as a Key Factor in the Transformation of Medicine,” organized by the Bamberg Foundation, which took place on March 29th. The aim of the event was to delve into the role that data and Artificial Intelligence play in the transformation of modern medicine.
Cristian participated in the first session of the event, titled: “What is our current situation? What is the state of the art? How do we see the future in five years?” During this session, he highlighted that 37% of healthcare professionals in the United States report experiencing cyberattacks. Additionally, 32% of these incidents involve ransomware. He also emphasized the importance of neural networks combined with homomorphic patterns to make effective medical predictions while ensuring that patients retain ownership of their data.
