This professor from the UDC received the National Award for Health Informatics yesterday from the Spanish Society of Health Informatics. This distinction recognizes his dedication and success in applying artificial intelligence to the field of Medicine. In his speech, he thanked those who support him and the emotional anchors of his native Galicia, but he made sure to emphasize that R&D&I needs constant support. And he certainly deserves it.
