The Research Center for Information Technologies (CITIC) at UDC hosted the TalentoCibeR event and the CITIC Cyber Competition (C3TF) on Thursday, with 157 students from across Spain participating in 40 teams competing against each other at the CITIC facilities, from atlanTTic in Vigo, and online.

The competition was held in a “Capture The Flag” (CTF) format, requiring students from vocational training, high school, and university to solve more than twenty different cybersecurity challenges and “capture the flag” in the shortest time possible. These challenges were developed by Martiño Rivera, Rubén Pérez (members of this research group), Julián González, and David Soler, researchers from the CITIC cybersecurity area.
